My opinion is that LOTR seems so good because you are left starved in culture and lifestyle, if you are not starved or if you have enough IQ to know how it would feel if you have eaten breakfast this morning then its just textbook missionary work of christians trying to inject themselves. You could argue that its actually paganism injecting itself back the early stages of christian missionary work since christianity is "officially" dominant, but the resulting revitalization and "ideal christianity" that occurs proves that christianity is a parasitic, and unnecessary entity.
