that's right. i definitely have the capability to tutor for jap but that's through the department and they won't let me do it until i've completed 2 more classes. apparently there's tutoring more generally through the university as well and the only requirement they have is that you're in your 3rd/4th year. technically since i transferred i came in as a 4th year
