30 years ago only the smartest and richest Indians came to the United States. They would often get (real) degrees at OUR colleges like doctors, or engineers. Nobody had a problem with them then.
15 years ago Silicon Valley started using Indians as coders, and within 5 years they realized they could use Indians who were educated at home at fake universities. This is when people started to notice they were not like the Indian doctors they knew and trusted. But it was still mostly confined to Silicon Valley, and (at least then) coding was still a "technical job" that retards couldn't do.
