Just because the content in the music I listen to has lyrics suggesting criminal acts and sinful behaviors, that doesnt mean I want to or am going to do those things and it doesnt mean that i even agree with those things. There are some parts of the song that i dissociate from. And also i listen to music for the instrumental parts just as much as the lyrics. I just like music. And because of the circumstances in my life being so negatively inclined, I tend to listen to the kind of music that resonates with those feelings. Because how can you appreciate happy uplifting music if your life is in a world of shit?
