Intelligence is the ability to solve problems that face in front of you, either by planning or improvisation. If you aren't even able to get a job and struggle with something as simple as tricking a girl into liking you you can't say you're any smart.
You haven't achieved any of those things (and many, many others) because trying and failing would hurt that self-image you have of being smart and capable of achieving anything.
Your ego has prevented you from acting, and will keep doing so until you recognized that you shouldn't take intelligence as granted, but something you prove to yourself through your success.
