>>21482776Went hunting yesterday, we bagged 8 grouse. My guess is leftists like causes with high appeal to emotions and don't think about things along lines of logic. For example the grouse I hunt is under the least concern category, I eat what I catch and use the wings and tails to make fans. There is a limit of five per person to catch each day you hunt.
Lets compare this to chickens. The chicken is raised from birth to death with the intention that it will be eaten. It is killed, cleaned and sent to the grocer where you buy it.
Now some leftists do care about the chicken but plenty of them don't bat an eyelash about it. They happily go to the store and buy their meats. Its ok for someone in a factory to raise and kill these birds but Its not ok for me to actually do some work to get my own meat from a bird that got to live a natural life in the wild.
The reason the leftist does not care about the second is because its emotional appeal is lower given everyone buys meat from the grocer, they don't have to kill the animal themselves and its presented as a wrapped and packaged product.
Think about any leftist cause and you will recognize this pattern. If it doesn't have the ability for high emotional appeal they won't care. If its not something they can visually display as a signal of their virtue they won't care. Its why they are often morally inconsistent and seem to support current things.
