From an evolutionary perspective (which itself is shoehorning things we see into as good as possible) we would say that she's choosing the optimal mate, but what is optimal? A guy whose bones are well formed? Is there a correlation between a well formed face and intelligence or strength of character?
Of course not, most good looking guys become confident because when they meet women they meet a very different kind of women as some incel would, women control sexuality, she can make you feel like a king when she gives herself in bed to you, and she can take it away just the same, why do you think guys kill their gf's? Its usually because she's fucking another guy or she wants to leave him and his entire self image implodes so he sees his life crumbling with her leaving.
