yeah. in another one of my classes we've just used class time to read stories out loud for like a week or 2 now. it's a more niche class so in general it's not as bad, but there's one guy who doesn't get through a single word without stuttering and interrupts himself to apologize every time he does. it's actually the most miserable experience of all time. yet another reason classes should focus on speaking skills much earlier instead of waiting until people are juniors to start pressing them on it at all

suppose that's bound to happen. i've definitely had more than once this semester that i've been halfway to school and all of a sudden start questioning if i even have class, though i haven't actually gotten it wrong yet
