>>12523867>I was surprised to find out Canada had such a beautiful parliament building, I was expecting something nice but more reserved from the colonial era.seen as i started i'll post some more of the Provincial Parliaments.modern Canada, hell, Canada as a Dominion as been an ongoing amalgamation of British Colonies in North America. actually the act in Whitehall that started Canada as we know it was called the British North America Act. it confederated Upper and Lower Canada (Quebec and Ontario) with Nova Scotia New Brunswick and Prince Edward's Island-and a bunch of the Hudson's Bay company's land to the north. over the next 80 odd years the Dominion expanded to include (or swallowed up depending on who you ask) Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
