If we were not alone, we would have found it already. scientists makes alot of assumptions about space. the idea that earthlike planets have to be out there simply due to mathematical probability is absurd; earth should have taught us the lesson that math is a construction of humanity to understand the universe around us. nothing is evenly distributed on earth; africa has more uranium and cobalt, europe more iron, americas more natural glass like quartz and obsidian. assuming that space is the same and earthlike planets are just evenly distributed throughout space is naive.

doesnt matter. its extremely rare for all of the right elements to come together in just the right spot in a solar system to the point that life is possible. we dont even know how rare, but I think much more rare than scientists like to assume
