Men who believe they are justified by their own righteousness ("I am a good person") are deceived. We are all sinners. Only Jesus Christ lived a perfect sinless life to take away the sins of the world through his sacrifice. If you believe God will find you righteous because you follow the Law given to Moses, realize that you have already broken that Law at some point, in some way. There is no turning back.
That Law is not possible to be followed by men because the sin of Adam has been passed through all generations into our corrupted flesh. Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh: The Son of God. His Father was God, not Adam. He was not under the curse of the original sin and fulfilled the Torah, for he is the Torah. From everlasting to everlasting.
Your sins need to be atoned for like everybody else.
Call upon the name of the Lord today and you will be saved. Rely on your own righteousness and you have already failed.
