>>16316128>the fuck else are they gonna do if they need to torture us and absorb our energy in order to survivehmm good point i didnt think of that... well two things come to mind
one is, even though it's sensible and understandable for them to do it because they need to do it to survive, that doesn't mean we should be ok with it or accept it because it's making our lives worse with no upside or benefit for us. they're like parasites, taking without giving anything back. you can't fault the parasite for being parasitic but you can still call it a fucking asshole and tell it to fuck off.
secondly and this ties in to the first thing is, why the fuck should we care about their survival at all? it's not like an ecosystem where you need predators to keep populations in check to prevent certain species from hogging all the resources or whatever. or maybe it is. all we really know, well at least me and i think most people, we just interact with this physical world and there's gotta be more to the world than just this. idk what it means for there to be "multiple dimensions", like people say time is the 4th dimension or whatever, but i think there is some kind of spiritual plane, just something beyond this 3d world that everyone knows, and i'm not even talking about what happens after death, i mean right here right now. i'm not keen on astrology or anything, i know it's been tested a billion times and it's always been deboonked, but still. so maybe the demons "need" to exist for some spritual-ecological reason idk
>>16316142>but the demons have been keeping their energy source pretty fairly sustained for a rather long time, centuriestrue, maybe millennia but then that leads to other ideas i heard like maybe there were fewer "demons" back in the day or they were less sophisticated so they couldn't manipulate us as much into being afraid or angry or they didn't have the same means of control (internet, media) that are ubiquitous forces today, interesting ideas but
