The book of Mormon is a summary of records that started in Jerusalem and were carried to America through different prophets who all added something to the records. It's basically a story about leaving Jerusalem and looking for the place that God set out for his people. There are visions in the book and miracles and generally speaking, it's a good read. Some of the war chapters are a bit heavy as in it's hard to follow which side is good and which side had fallen away as it changes so much but it's still a good read and brings you closer to Jesus Christ which can't be bad, can it?
