I have some basic financial stats for the Josie fans in these threads, since a repeated meme is that she's going to quit streaming and go right back to the trash dump, I got curious in terms of what she'll need to keep making to be financially stable.
The minimum wage in Phoenix is $13.85, so in the worst case scenario that she does go back to being a wagie working full time/40 hours a week, she'd be making only $28,808 a year before taxes. This means that between winning fishtank, her fishbux, and what she's earned so far from streaming, she's already made a little over two years salary if she were to work at minimum wage at Popeyes or something again.
Now, if you look at picrel you'll see that the average yearly salary in Phoenix is $63,863, which isn't too bad of an income for an average person, especially at 21 years old. Certainly not rich but it's a comfortable enough salary for someone to live off of, and given that Josie still lives with her folks it's not like she has to worry about rent or anything. This means that, if the money keeps coming, she's made a little under $10 grand short of an average years salary from the past 3-4 months. Now, if we were to take that $63,863 amount and divide it by 52 weeks in a year, she would need to pull around $1228 per week going forward. Looking at Vietcong anons final chart and Swiss anons financial tracking of the secret streams from the previous threads, she made almost $2750 between the three streams this week ($1380 + $500 + $870). Of course this isn't factoring in things like potential merch sales and the shit people bought for her on throne.
What does this mean? It means that, for now at least, she's doing just fine. She's not going to be rich or anything, but there are streamers out there who have been doing this much longer than Josie with half the audience, earn way less money, and are still able to live comfortably. She's good.
