I think I've figured it out. Men with micropenises must be more likely to develop a diaper fetish, which would essentially serve as a coping mechanism. They are unable to come to terms with reality and so they escape into the past, to a time when their physical impairments didn't matter. Additionally, they may also have a strong preference for children's toys or media, it's quite obvious as to why.
