Literally everything in this country is about how much better than someone else you can be.300 Million people in the country, only about 400 of them can play in the NBA at any time, only 50 of them can be the Governor of a state at any time, only about 1000 can make money in the movie industry, only a handful will be astronauts, only 9 people can be on the US Supreme Court at any time... a tiny sliver of the population makes 99% of the Revenue in many industries..... the schools have gotten on board with that same mindset and they have "class ranks" where they rank the students, they have huge sports programs giving kids the false idea that they have any chance of being a pro sports player... giving Elementary students loads of propaganda about being an Astronaut... when all the odds are stacked against you... the mainstream public schools never instruct students how to be a mechanic or plumber or even clean out the carburetor on a push-lawnmower.... instead they show you how the Space Shuttle works or how many rings are around Jupiter or how Congress works as if you have any chance of ever being a US Senator or Supreme Court judge... most of the public school experience is instructing you on how to get a job that you have no chance of ever getting
