i take it the our impression of the first book is generally good, right? i, personally, loved reading this book, it was very smooth. the pacing was weird but good weird. i was pleasantly surprised when we jumped a few years and stuff. im always iffy when it comes to timeskipping in stories, especially when its on the same book and not the following book/episode/season but i was okay with it in this book. oh! OH! dude, this is the first time in a long time that i could remember fist pumping and celebrating when i read a sentence. i was so proud. this book was great, thank you timothy zahn.
also, there are times when i got weird(ed) out by how descriptive of a first person view we got with thrawn and i think that's the gist of my impression of the book.
