As expected, US job numbers defy gravity as Burgers no longer can afford not to be employed.
This will continue for the foreseeable future as labor market conditions will become tighter due to the self inflicted tariff drama by the Trump administration.
The American worker will cling to his or her current employment, or any employment for that matter, due to the overall uncertainty the Trump administration is foolishly sowing. It is expected that if overall economic conditions were to deteriorate from their current state, the American worker would quietly accept broad cuts in compensation and wages without engaging in risky endeavors such as hunting for a higher pay by trying to change workplaces or even careers.
A potential future decline in overall employment this time can be seen as critical, as it would indicate that despite Americas best effort to keep a job, the economic conditions have worsened enough for employees to scale back on business activity.
