Golden Age came to its end with Hellfire, earthquakes and magma, when Zeus and his allies toppled Cronos.
Silver Age came to its end with the fall of a star and lightning bolts, because man was impious.
Bronze Age came to its end with the Flood of Deucalion and Pyrrha.
And the Iron Age will end with absolute entropy, disillusion, and the slow decay of death.
> "During this age, humans live an existence of toil and misery. Children dishonor their parents, brother fights with brother and the social contract between guest and host (xenia) is forgotten.
