guys its really just vitamin d that youre getting from it. oily fish is one of the only things that naturally contain non-marginal amounts of vitamin d in nature. usually we get it from the sun, but since modernity, over 80% of the population is severely vitamin d deficient and that causes a plethora of issues, including a depressed feeling. i can nearly guarantee that the magic from the fish is simply the vitamin D. just supplement it unless you love the fish, which im not saying is impossible or anything
