Reminds me of when I was in elementary school I become obsessed with digging a hole outside everyday during PE. Every day for about 2 months I just went to me hole and dug for the full hour. I remember some of the teachers coming over and asking why I was digging and at the time I didn't have answer, I guess at the time I thought they wanted to know about the hole itself and not why a single 2nd grade student was spending every day by himself just digging. They even ended up talking to my parents without telling me, they wanted to know if it was related to trauma or abuse. It was completely beyond them, the idea of just digging a really deep hole for no reason than you wanted to.
