I hope love gets easier eventually, but for whatever reason there always seems to be at least one person in a relationship that isn't happy with a couple's love. It seems that now adays every little thing has to be perfect in order for a marriage to be taken seriously. Both partners have to be the same exact age, or the older partner is seen as taking advantage of the younger partner, both partners have to live near each other since merging families with just one child or having a child move into their lover's family is pretty much out of the question, both partners have to be of similar financial standing or the poorer partner will be seen as taking advantage of the richer partner.
Even if the stars align and Cupid strikes both partners love in America is turned into a cat and mouse game of "Will my lover end up gold digging me for someone their parent's deem a more worthy partner?". And heaven forbid the lovers make love to each other before the marriage certificate is signed, and notarized.
Don't even ask me whether a 16 from a 16-age-of-consent state is allowed to marry an 18 year old from an 18-age-of-consent state.
Are people with Progeria that will die of old age before they reach the age of 16 supposed to never experience intercourse?
Love is so simple, yet Humans are so complicated... It almost seems like I'm the only person that can be happy when two people find their other half...
