You seem to not be able to revolt. See OP ? He feel in his gut that something is wrong now but what is his point of reference ? A feeling about an old distorted reality movie about place and characters that don't and never existed.
But he feel like this is real and project what is missing today on what this movie make him feel. Not even facts just feelings.
The same kind that will look at the 60' and think it was a better time. It was not. The 60' led us to taday situation. Degenerate movies of the 90' were also what lead us to this.
