>>15749040>That anon above recommended an IT certification, why don't you go for that?Lack of interest in what you would end up doing; if it has no "meaning" or "purpose" beyond finding some random thing to get money off just so you can "afford to live".
Point here is that NEET's are desperate for a genuine meaning in their life, but it's questionable whether they can recover from what they lived through up until now just "as it is" without someone else carefully playing into their desires.
>Stop jerking off, clean your fucking room, do gardening, whatever.It is also because of that "lack of greater purpose" or "lack of knowledge about a greater purpose" that they refuse to do anything basic like upholding a standard for their own appearance.
Doing something with your room is a decent start, but they might as well end up with something that looks like a mess, and they argue that "it's better than before and I know where everything is, so..." etc.
>So why do you act like you are?Might be a bit easier if they don't live in the US. The thing I'm looking at here is "societal pollution".
If they only want to talk to people that are equal to them or superior to them, then they won't exactly want to get a "regular job". The hatred of all "jobs" altogether also comes from how other people describe them;
>"JUST GO THERE FOR 2 YEARS DUDE AND THEN YOU GET CERTIFIED AND EARN XXX GOYBUCKS PER MONTH OOOOOOOOOOOOO"...like, who the fuck actually cares? If it's "so easy" then why even try? Especially when it leaves them in the same state of "society is meaningless and devoid of reason, nobody recognizes a greater goal than jobs and taxes, why the fuck am I here..."
At least they have the heart to admit that they are worthless.
