>>19438218picrel uni has the same thing. our undergrad (we were forced to buy a mealplan freshman year, after that nope, cooked myself and occasionally would eat out) dining halls were the lowest of the low "sodexo" food catering. top 5 engineering university in most undergrad disciplines, and our food was complete dog shit. but there's a professor's eatery in our student center. once I started working in labs my second year of ugrad, I got invited there a few times, and it was an entirely different world. as a freshman, I didn't even know it existed.
it's insane to me that at a top university, things like giving students proper nutrition in the dining halls to properly nourish their brains and also make them a bit happier is not seen as a priority.
