>>11274882He's fine, unless his auto-immune disease (anti-Phospholipin Syndrome, a bleeding-clotting disorder that is genetic) flares. I have a different isotype than he has, so I pretty much lost pregnancies only. Almost lost him many times.
When he was in high school, a valve in his leg failed; he faced the prospect of losing his leg. Sooo, we joked that ifnthatbhappened, his tag-name could be "Amp U -T" - said metered, finished with his two arms forming a "T".
>yes, we laughed; what else could we do but face it head on?He also has complex learning disabilities, however, with age he has conquered many of them. We have autism in the family, but his criteria is different. It took two years to diagnose them, at the Institute of Basic Research in Staten Island, where we lived.
He's currently getting over ulcers in his conflicted leg, but, it healed this time without needing another skin graft.
>NOW, and I am serious about this, there's no need for thinking about condolences and whatnot as a response. Everyone has challenges in life, and, this is his. The trade-off for him was being blessed with an awesome, empathetic personality. He has such amazing wisdom, everyone cherishes him.
So, there you have most of it in a nutshell. He's the epitome of blessings, and that's everything, really.
Pic is a birthday gift he made for me a few years ago. lmao
