>>2321206I'll give you the quick and dirty OP. Trends usually come from the elites and work their way down to the middle class and sometimes the lower class in various ways. Tattoos are an interesting exception to this trend, as they have been known as a working class fashion (mainly criminals/people in prison etc) that has worked its way up to the middle classes.
'society' as you probably see it is a projection from the elites downward, who obviously disprove of working class fashions moving upward. /pol/ users that claim degeneracy are either religious or just standard counter-culturalists.pic related
