i found out the other day that apparently houses in japan generally depreciate in value over time rather than appreciating, so construction is an extremely valuable skill since people will just tear down old houses and build new ones on the same land very frequently
i thought i remembered replying but couldn't find it so i thought i missed it
this would also be extremely comfy. i thought about replacing my mattress with one of those japanese fold up futons not too long ago
