yeah, this is generally how honorifics in bulgarian work too. your young relatives calling you uncle/auntie/grandpa/grandma/big brother/big sister/, etc.
it also works in the third person too. like for example, one time i had covered myself with a scarf during winter and a mother was trying to get her kid to use his scarf too and pointed to me and said "see, look how this big brother covers himself too". and if i was older, she could have said "look how this uncle covers himself too"
so basically that's how it works in bulgarian. it's not as developed as in asian languages, but it still exists.
