>>19311601Clearly, the Demon of the Demense, accommodating though she may be, is no longer willing to stand idly by and watch Carmody and Sola flirt their way through a Divine Touch session... or perhaps to listen to the lies and vitriol spewing from her deceased comrade. Whichever it is, could you blame her? This day has gone wildly off the rails. Sola feels like she's back at school, and the principal is scolding once again her for missing class, and she knows there is use explaining herself. It's only now Sola finally notices the outfit Priscilla chose, and good lord it's a sight to behold. Although Sola wants nothing more than to confront Priscilla directly for the way she has trained her pets, the anger is wearing off and the further realisation of how far out of her depth she is once again takes hold.
Sola looks at Carmody, with a pleading gaze. 'Let's just go before anything worse happens?' she intends. The day is over, and the shoot ruined, to the surprise of many through absolutely no fault of Sola Fire. It's clear she was not expected to be here, and maybe not wanted -- maybe? -- but to Sola, this was something of a turning point. With a deep breath, Sola steels herself -- Steeli's herself, if you're obsessed like that -- to make another date with Priscilla Divine at some point in the future.
"Thank you, Priscilla -- Miss Divine. I'm sorry, this isn't what I wanted. I have had a surprisingly good time -- even if *some people* did not want me to. Perhaps I'll see you at the upcoming show, or perhaps not... I hope I do."
>[Sola turns to Amy, and grabs Carmody's hand.]"I can't talk sense into Carmody, Amy. Because she's not my friend. She's my girlfriend. If I asked you to pick between Colby or me, what would you do? Exactly. I'm not going to choose between the two of you" --
-- "because it's not a choice."
>[The levee in Sola's mind stands strong... for now. Sola turns to leave this warzone with Carmody, as soon as she is ready.]
