Only thing that sets it apart from the serious stuff is the veneer of comedy, but the footage used is 100% real and the things he talks about are real too.
India is simply such a fucked up place, that we can watch something like this and consider it a total comedy, easily forgetting that this is actually happening daily.
For example the segment about cowshit is basically Indians just talking about their daily cowshit infused life, no comedy there at all aside from the sheer absurdity of it.
Indians being completely oblivious to trains isn't exactly false either. These people have such low IQs that they genuinely can't understand that rails = train, let alone be aware of their surroundings to a point they could hear or see the train coming.
As far as I'm concerned, this guy made a genuine cheeky documentary about the real India we don't see in the mainstream media.
