I think like the reason why most artists wear black is because it’s almost like some weird version of Jesus’s teaching and what he represented and they wear black because it’s symbolically how they wear the crown of thorns I guess, for the “sins” of teh people.
If you really want to relate and emphasize with the commoners and masses I think you’re expected to do this through the whole black thing.
But in doing so, the artists are also almost like a bad influence on the populace and it’s kind of an insult to the average persons intelligence as well I think.
But then maybe that’s not entirely what it is, see I don’t know if the average person is really black that much. I think for artists well I’m not sure what it is, I guess there’s the possibility that they’re really all not really considered good enough for some reason just about, like they don’t fully understood which is surprising because there’s all these rich famous artists who wear all black you would think they would have the affluence to know better.
I guess for artists they think it allows for them to be more creative or something. It’s just like a stereotype when I think of artists in almost do think of like black or imagine them to wear lots of black but it’s gotten really out of hand, it’s almost like a uniform these days for some people.
And I wonder a lot of the time just how genuine the black artists are as well, like do they really mean what they write and sing about or is it just because they associate and became a part of that circle.
