>>7608455there wasnt any need to prolong the radio traffic. random radio etiquette lesson: it is perfectly normal to just have a conversation on radio, there's just procedures when conducting said radio conversation. for example if you are still not done talking but going in excess over 30 seconds or more you should leave gaps and depress the transmit button for a second or two. as to let in radio traffic through if some other party has a higher priority and needs the channel.
usually in movies you'll hear folks interupt radio traffic with 'break break break' when those gaps occur.
