The amount of separation from this universe to the next can be as little as a single person putting their coffee mug down .5cm to the left, everything else is the same. But the variable for changes between worlds is probably even smaller then that. It may even be smaller then electrons. CERN fucked something up and we're actually noticing changes in real time. Big clusters of us are remembering some changes together, but we're all probably scattering into the multiverse till we have nothing left in common with anyone else ever again
