>>11213432> why the fuck do you think God and Jesus are the same entityThey are not, but the connection & clear distinction of the three are the core of Christians mysticism.
Each personality of Trinity are and have always been eternally existed entities, whom share one divine essence. This divine essence can be considered as God what Christians talk about.
Thou then the question is: what are these personalities, their connection to one another and how they sum back into one God.
Theology & scriptures clearly states Jesus (The Son to be exact) is a separate personality of this divine essence.
However, upon Jesus's baptism, all three personalities were present: he himself who was baptised, Holy Spirit that descended upon him & Father who proclaimed Jesus to be his Son.
This would give a clear indication that the three are separate beings & would give some value for Islam's claims of Christians being polytheists who believe that mere Romans killed God incarnate.
This interpretation demeans God thou. He's the omnipotent & omnipresent entity that exists.
The questions why he could have caused such an event that happened upon Jesus' baptism is humans' poor attempt to rationalise God to be a box fitting thing.
The omnipotent & omnipresent being is not boxable thou.
And here we come to the dilemma of Christian mysticism:
The omnipotent & omnipresent entity forming three personalities that limited human beings are capable to understand & familiarise with & find their faith through.
How these three personalities of Trinity sum into one comes form God's omni-nature.
As a limited being, there's no possible way to rationalise conception of omni-nature of God & hence we're left being somewhat unaware & overthinking this connection, thou it's simpler than it seems. To understand this, you don't go from 1 to 3 to 1, but from 1 to 3 to back to 1.
