i wouldn't say the working conditions were that awful to be honest, but the company was definitely doing nothing but cutting corners with disregard for employee or customer satisfaction above the bare minimum. one thing that was really telling to me was they changed our schedule from 8.5 hours with a 45 minute lunch and two paid 15 minute breaks to 9 hours with an hour lunch and no other breaks. when we asked why they were doing that the only reason anyone could give us was "for bookkeeping"
