For some people its life itself, for others its their lack of experiences, lack of oppertunities, lack of future prospects
for others its disabilities, sickness, and terrible outcomes.
not existing has no downsides.
Im not sure why you just don't admit to being egoistic, and doing the gamble for your own sake, and hopeing for a good outcome for your children.
The real question would be what one would tell ones child that says "dad i hate that you brought me into this world, i wish i wasn't born"
"well i did the gamble for your sake"
is a pretty bad argument, when the opposite is the case. You did it for yourself.
Nothing wrong with admitting that and just moving on, but most people seem to want to cry about it.
Morality is incompatable with gambling with life im afraid.
