>To calculate chance of KOT ID:The chance of getting any specific character is 1/64. The chance of getting three specific characters in a row is 1/64*1/64*1/64.
To calculate that we can do 1/(64^3) which is 1/262144.
Since there are six possible locations, we can multiply that by 6, which gives us 6/262144, or simplified 3/131072.
That means that, if the ID generator is truly random, you should see a true KOT ID appear 3 times per 131072 unique IDs generated, or approximately once out of every 43690 IDs generated.
The math changes if you include other variants of KOT ID, but I'll leave that calculation for someone else.
