In terms of public opinion, there hasn't been much difference between him and Obama - it's generally split, and the opinions tend to be extreme whether in favor or against. Can't really say his policies have effected me much, either. When the 2008 crisis hit, though, my parents tightened their belt a bit, and there hasn't been an equivelant of that during his presidency. However, one can't blame the crisis on Obama, just like this lack of one can't be attributed to Trump. I'd say he's about the same as any overall.
