Aramaic Cephas (ܟ݁ܺܐܦ݂ܳܐ) means the same thing as Greek Petros (Πέτρος)...both words mean "stone, rock", and are used to refer to Simon Peter/Simon Cephas/Shemun Kipha (šemᶜon kīpā) in Greek and Aramaic..
e.g.
(Mt. xvi.16)
Simon Cephas answered and said: Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living God.
Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
