Those are some impressive gains, I'm sure you cornering the market was a big factor but maybe there's new blood crowding into the scene too? Hopefully you already finished that collection and aren't being forced to pay through the nose now! It's not the same but since I started collecting ancient sling bullets the interest/competition has gotten ridiculous, all of these would have been $40-100 in 2018 but several rich collectors have blown it up. It's frustrating but I have pieces far better than the $800 Alexander bullet that those guys would kill for which is somewhat consoling. I can't really compete directly but my man in Cyprus has been detecting and acquiring more rarities, I was basically his only serious p2p buyer and he always sold delightfully cheap so unless someone "floods" the market with several duplicates I will need to bypass eBay/Biddr to collect more without breaking the bank.
