Heads up if any of you have played on banttf2/Kogasatopia/the fake Uncletopia in the last month. If you aren't on their whitelist you probably have a virus on your pc now. It's a modified version of Rensenware called "Kogasa's Surprise". It activates randomly at least 6 weeks after installation.
If you aren't familiar with Rensenware, it's basically a ransomware created as a joke that locks your computer behind a bullet hell game that you need to get a high score in. The new Kogasa Surprise virus is slightly different in that, after getting on your PC, it waits a random number of weeks to reveal itself by jumpscaring you in the middle of the night. After the inital jumpscare "Kogasa" will explain to you that you must play Touhou 12, get a 1cc on at least normal difficulty, and then clear the unlocked extra stage to regain control of your pc. Kogasa also blocks the cheat engine exploit that was made to beat the original rensenware. Attempting to use cheat engine or google anything about cheats will cause the screen to be covered with a frankly very fucking creepy picture of Kogasa saying "Why don't you want to play with me mr?" while the sonic cd boss music is playing, and after 1 minute your PC will shut down. Basically the only thing you can do on your PC after this virus activates is download Touhou 12 and play Touhou 12.
I wanted to tell the Uncletopia mods about this, but unfortunately I've been preemptively banned from all of their shit just for being in the bant steam group. As many of you know Kogasatopia often impersonates uncletopia servers so their players are at high risk of having the kogasa virus.
If you think you could have it and have never beaten a Touhou game before, start grinding or do a full reinstall of your OS.
Also the guy who made this is a literal schizo who thinks that Kogasa is real. She's canonically a youkai spirit who feeds off human emotions like fear so he keeps describing this situation as "bringing sustenance to my most beloved"
