There is so much knowledge that has been passed on down to you that you take for granted that it’s ridiculous. Even something simple like ‘what is the sun’ is knowledge that had to be given to you from somebody else. If we follow your logic, then literally all of history that you haven’t personally experienced might as well just be make believe stories.
Even if we can confirm that somebody was a real person who existed, we usually have to take at face value that the actions and words that are attributed to them are actually true and accurate. Especially back then, when literacy was so rare.
And do try to remember that the Gospels that describe Christ’s life on Earth were actually four different accounts that were written separately from one another, and only brought together hundreds of years after they were written. What you’re doing is the same as bitching that since there’s only one history book about a given subject that it isn’t verifiable, despite said book actually being a collection of several different writings and evidence.
