Mushrooms are really the way to go if you want to grow a lot of food in a small space. Get a hardy oyster mushroom strain conducive to your area. You can grow them out on so many things, even cardboard. I've grown mushrooms for over ten years. I've got two or three strains I still sell spawn for. Wine cap is pictured.
