We got enough university educated Asian migrants and enough skilled labor and tradies from Mexico and Guatemala and all that's left is the absolute unskilled labor and refugees from further south in Central America, the middle east and Africa so they're pretty openly just saying "lol sorry immigration machine broke" not taking anyone for a while. They're not even hiding it.
If we need more labor I suspect will start importing semi-skilled South East Asians like Flips, Thais and Viets in droves or maybe South Americans and more pajeets. We're an openly hypocritical country. I legitimately think the US is too racist (even non Whites) to allow mass migration of Africans and Middle Eastern people, especially non-skilled ones.
