I'd consult her about where I should put the money so that it can grow most effectively on its own. I'd use a small chunk of it to get a piece of land and a nice little cuck shed. Friends and family could move on to my land, but not too close, and they'd have to be willing to contribute in some way.
Basically, I'd live a super low-key life and live off the dividends. I'd probably invest quite a bit of it, and give some of it to charity. I'm a simple person, and I don't need a lot of fancy things. I'd probably travel a lot, too.
