Make a ball, put on griddle or in large pan on high heat.
Take pot with a smooth bottom and smoosh the ball into a thin burg.
Season the burg with salt and pepper.
Don't flip for a couple minutes, make sure the edges are Atleast getting crispy then flip only once.
Server on toasted bun with thinly sliced toppings.
The rest is just subjective, but this process generally makes an objectively good burger without too much effort.
