I'm so sick of seeing /pol/yps popping up on every board telling me to "dilate" or "go back to my subreddit" just because I made an offhand joke about cheeto hitler or said something "radically left" like "gay people have a right to exist" or reminding people that lgbtqa+ persons exist and that they don't deserve to be harassed online.
Other sites moderate harassing hate speech and it greatly improves their forum culture. Here are some changes I would like to see from this site:
>Word filter "dilate" to something positive like, "I value you as a person" or "I affirm your gender"
>Word filter "go back to" to "Welcome friend from"
>Word filter "tranny" to "femanon"
>Word filter "fag" and "faggot" to "same-sex attracted person"
>Word filter "nigger" to "person of African descent"
These suggestions are just for starters though, of course.
Most importantly though, just delete /pol/. It contributes nothing to this site and it drags everyone else down with it.

On top of which, it's a hot bed of right-wing extremism waiting to commit another mass shooting. Not to mention all the filthy hate-filled propaganda & conspiracy theories it spawns and spreads to the rest of the internet.
Do the right thing and just delete that board entirely. No one will miss it.
