>>10028111you absolutely can build yourself into a corner where it gets borderline impossible to get your resources where they need to go to be honest. it's hard to do but i've managed it twice. being 3D just gives you so much more wiggle room though
yeah, the downside is that satisfactory has lots of problems like clipping, weird conveyor angles, and short render distance that factorio avoids by being a 2d grid. that being said it satisfactory looks fine for the most part especially if you're conscious of placing stuff so it doesn't look janky. it's also still early access so i imagine they're pushing for it to be feature complete then tuning up the fine bits of the graphics.
