>tfw I was literally the meme from 11-13 by having a 6/10 outdoorsy/tomboy-ish close friend I met at a kid's centre (Both homeschooled but sent there on days when our mum's had to work) who wanted to hang out with me over the other kids in spite of my aspergers and general weirdness, pestered her mum and mine to be able to hang out at my house and spend time with me on days she would otherwise be at the centre alone, and turned out to harbour a barely concealed crush with cryptic questions and hints I was oblivious to until mum ripped into me a year after we drifted apart.I still think about that now, almost twenty years later. It's a horrible feeling that the first ever close relationship I've had with the opposite gender has been the only one that didn't involve and end in a ton of drama and general shittery. This was also around the time the film 'Bridge to Terabithia' came out, which is a really eerie coincidence in hindsight. Fuck me lads, I hate myself for that.
